TRAIN
WRECK
CINEMA
escaping the library of blank slates vol i
somewhere along the way
quarantined egos, strings untied
hidden from view, un-abide
echoes pulse, through empty halls
ever unyielding waterfalls

interloped roads, sway and transpire
while you listen, don’t inquire
who speaks to you, no one knows
to each door open, you slowly close

about train wreck cinema
Train Wreck Cinema, a debut collection of poetry and prose by Nikki Day, takes the reader down a journey of self-discovery and asking the questions to pin down who they were, who they are, and who they want to be. Life is multifaceted, as the threads from our family, friends, other lives around us weave within our fabric as we continue moving down our life path. Not everything is light or makes sense during the first phases of transformation. Train Wreck Cinema, the first volume in the Escaping the Library of Blank Slates collection, explores the first phases of an unintentional metamorphosis.
